The Douglas Cafe, in Douglas Alaska, is a WONDERFUL place to eat! It has staff and food that reminds me of small towns "down south". Huge hamburgers, great onion rings, and brightly colored surroundings. I used to have a job in which I got off at 1PM on Fridays, and The Douglas Cafe was where I went EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY AFTERNOON. Sometimes, I took my step-son out of day care early, and took him with me. He was never hungry at that point, having already eaten, so he'd order a chocolate milk, and I'd always give him some bites of my hamburger and a few of my french fries. I highly recommend The Douglas Cafe for good homestyle cooking.
