Wanted to find a typical old shack to have breakfast on a recent trip to Arizona. Tried the eggs nachos and it was fantastic as were the pancakes but be warned one is enough. Plenty of coffee top ups, great service and loads of character. Brilliant place. |

The Rock Springs Cafe is about 45 minutes north from the PHX airport, at the Black Canyon City exit. We loved the food and the atmosphere. It was full of locals eating lunch. |

As a teen who just moved to New River AZ from Philadelphia PA/Townsend DE I didn't really want to do any thing but hang with friends and not NOT my dad. But one night I didn't have a choice. We went to rock springs cafe. When I walked in I thought, wow this place is old western which was kinda cool. Anyway I realized the food was amazing and the people were so nice! Now even though I moved south we still go back up there just for the great food and extremly nice staff there. My dad has even partied with a few of the waitresses! I love it there and wish I could move back up there. |

On our first trip to AZ, we stopped at Rock Springs after 24 hours of driving. Our taste buds awoke our tired bodies. We moved to AZ and took weekly trips for the great food, the occasional mouse dashes across the floor and an old west feel with great food. We moved to WA and make our annual pilgrimage to Rock Springs Cafe for the food, atmosphere and reminiscing. Don't miss this quaint life experience! |

We moved to Arizona from the east coast about a year ago. We saw a story on TV about the Rock Springs Cafe and Penny's pies. I had the patty melt and have to agree that it was the best I've ever had. We liked the atmosphere, the waitresses and, well, we liked everything about our experience. This is sure to become one of our favorite places! The pies were just like the ones "our mothers used to make!" It was well worth the drive. |

At a friend's recomendation this was our first stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. The ambience, the people the lunch and of course the pies were terrific. We stopped again on our way home. Take note we went to Grand Canyon once and the Rock Creek Cafe twice. |
