It's amazing how to find about certain places sometimes.
I was introduced to this restaurant by a chinese friend of mine who loves Indian food.
(keep in mind that I am an Indian)
So I went there with her and my fiancee to see what she was raving about and as soon as I tasted the food, I didn't have words for it.
In fact, I vividly remember her asking me how I liked it and I held on to my answer before I said "this is the best Indian food I have had anywhere in a restaurant in the US".
The reason I was holding on to my response was because I wanted to be sure I wasn't saying it just because I was so damn hungry.
Anyway, we had saag paneer, daal, and zeera rice and she had a chicken dish i don't remember (i am veggie)
and everything was just the way it is supposed to taste at home.
Not over spiced, not dipped in layers of oil, the food was excellent.
I have to mention that the service was great just as I would expect from any Indian and place looked very clean and hygenic.
I did go one more time here and had the same experience yet again.
This place is a little too far from where I live so I can't frequent it as much as I would want to.
About the prices, I think this is as affordable as it can get.
Whether you love Indian food or not, you have to go there.
Have fun, |
