My parents live on the Navy Yard near Pennsylvania Ave. That is my favorite cafe in DC. I recommend the french toast or the california salad! If you become a regular they will treat you like royalty! |

Not sure about the Capitol Hill restaurant, but the one on Connecticut Ave will NEVER get my business again. I was there with 3 other people for Sunday brunch. The food came cold, it was overpriced, and the portions were small. More importantly though, our server told us that we had to leave because she "needed the table"--twice. We were there no more than 1.5 hours from sit down to leaving. There WERE open tables off and on while we were there, and there was no one waiting in line to eat when we left. |
