If there ever was the epitome of the defition "greasy spoon", this is it. If you are looking for a great gut bomber, then you've just found it.
Though they try to put some "lite" items on the menu, it's rather deceiving because in the end...it is what it is. A toasted muffin as oppossed to grilled, sounds healthier, right? WRONG. The muffin itself tastes like it's made with 9 oz of butter! A House of Pancakes gone terribly awry.
Know this and you hold the Golden Scepter of Truth in your hands. Go in there expecting to fill up on fat and grease. If you can get past that, then enjoy the eggs over-easy with a great chubber of a muffin. Eat the six egg omelette and don't look back. And, for God's sake...don't get on a scale.
The portions are big and you almost expect a waitress to say, "What can I get ya hunny?"
If you are looking for a Jersey style stick to your ribs, your in the right place...hunny. |
