My (now) husband met my parents for the 1st time (when we were in college) at the Le Jardin!
So yummy! And the Owners are wonderfully attentive :) |

We went there about a year ago with a friend who ordered dinner and decided to order just a dessert. We were charged more for the dessert than the normal price, ($7.00 for a single scoop of ice cream!!!) because we hadn't ordered dinner. A woman who was either manager, owner or both had made this decision and she indicated it was because we hadn't ordered dinner. Besides being illegal to charge different prices to different people, it is unethical and I have since recommended to many not to eat there. |

Le Jardin is a favorite place to dine while in Deland. If you never have, you should definitely check it out. They have an interesting mix of French and Vietnamese dishes and do both exceptionally well. Always be sure to try the special, it's usually a delicious French seafood dish, like salmon stuffed with lobster in a cream dill sauce. The food and service is consistent and reasonable. |
