Rocky's Cafe is 50% antique shop and 50% Italian deli. Everything on display is for sale. Rocky herself takes your order, prepares your meal and then serves it. The Cafe sits right in the middle of a residential neighborhood in the rural outpost of Geneva, between a church and a feed store. There are usually a few locals hanging out. The food is excellent but extremely rich and filling. Go on an emtpy stomach. Also, quality meals take time -- don't be in a hurry. Bring your own beer and she'll let you put it in her cooler. Check out the newspaper clippings of Rocky the model and Rocky the smiling busty roadside hot dog girl! (They used to call her "Wreckin' Rocky" because of all the accidents she caused in her tight, skimpy outfits.) In a world of corporate theme restaurants, it sure is nice to eat at a good old-fashioned little hometown joint. |
