I have always had a good meal here. The prices are so reasonable and the portions are very satisfying. I'm sorry to see that some people have had a bad experience. I will continue to go back. |

Ambience: Neighborhood hangout, plastic table cloths
Only wine and beer - and only what mass market likes
Serviceable food, big portions, friendly, but *not* gourmet fare, *not* anything you'd find in Italy.
Four sauces: marinara, alfredo, verdicchio, marsala recur in shrimp, chicken, veal versions. And the "parmigiana" for you fast-food freaks. |

I too was a regular at Luigi's. I used to refer the place to everyone I knew. Went there to get pick up and all the waitresses ignored me. No one wanted to do the extra work at greeting the customer at the counter. My food was the only bag on the counter sitting there getting cold. Spoke to Richard, the manager and handed him a letter. He failed to respond to my letter and has lost a lot of business over the last 1.5 years.
Food quality has gone down as they have cycled through too many new chefs. |

I used to go there all the time, now I only go once in a while because I live far, but I love the place, especially the Calamari Scampi. |

My family and I found this treasure back in 1996 when I first started school in Boston. Wow, has it been that long? We've been going back ever since, and I've introduced dozens of family members and friends, all of whom love it. The food is great and the prices can't be beat. The Frutti de Mare is my absolute favorite. The only complaint I have is the lousy bread. The dough is pasty and it's always served cold. It won't stop me from going though! |

Our waitress was like my mother. Caring, but had a job to do. She didn't miss a beat. Never did I have to look for her to call her attention to somthing. The food was more than good. It was authentic, abbondanza. |
