Easily the best place to hang out in Davis, And it's largest reason to go there since Denise's Ice Cream became J.P. Licks. Use the bathroom. Bring a marker. Or a paint brush. There're countless layers of graffiti and paint vainly trying to cover it. Reading the new messages every week makes the visit well worthwhile. |

This place is like a communist cafe in Sweden; run-down, funky with attitude. Piercings abound, tatoos are a requirement if you work there and everyone is just hanging out. This is the place you go if you think the Diesel Cafe is gentrifying the neighborhood. Fun, lots of good tea and very good coffee too. |
