The coffee is very good, and the desserts are out of this world -- everything is made completely on premises, even the ice cream. The pastries are incredible. On Tuesday nights they have a jazz jam with very high caliber musicians. There is a separate bistro-style room adjacent to the dessert bar, with good acoustics and comfortable seating.
