This smalltown, homestyle restuarant features some of the best homemade soups and specials to be found. Daily dinner and supper specials include local ethnic dishes such as Kase Knefla (cheese buttons), strudel, borscht, and others. Burgers are made with 100% local ground beef and homebaked hamburger buns. All desserts are made on the premises and use local produce, such as rhubarb and raspberries in season. Sunday buffet is like going home to Grandma's.
A recent Saturday night special was an 8 oz. sirloin steak with salad, potato, and garlic toast for $7.50. I used a dinner knife to cut the steak. |
