They only use one kind of cheese, and it's Gruyere. 'Nuff said.
Seriously: The ingredients are real, the almond paste is generous, the ham is genuine, the spinach is fresh, the butter is pure. The coffee's also superior, of course, but it seems that the pastries are overlooked by many patrons. Try a ham and cheese croissant, heated up, with some fresh juice and a little Fox's Mustard for lunch; or, a hot cup of Sumatra and a warm almond croissant for breakfast. There is nothing finer. |
