This was my first trip to California Cafe but it won't be my last. Everything from the food to the ambience to the excellent service makes this a highly recommended dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the sesame encrusted Ahi tuna, and my husband could not stop praising the smoked pork chop. A definite thumbs up from us! |

The food at California Grill is very good and well presented. My only compliment these days is the POOR service. The service is not at all like it use to be. Please bring back the professional waitress! |

My husband and I ate at the California Cafe in King of Prussia in September. I had Portabello Mushroom Soup and it was incredible! I loved this soup and am always wanting to go again! I'm always wishing I had the recipe! |

I have eaten at California Cafe several times and find the food to be quite inventive and very fresh. It is a bit pricey, but the food is very good and portions are hearty. |

Unfortunately, my husband and I decided to dine at the King of Prussia California Café on Sunday, November 18, 2001 at approximately 3PM. We will not be back. I ordered the Oriental Chicken Salad. What I received was not what was described on the menu. The salad had exactly 2 dime-sized wontons, no almonds and a scant amount of salad dressing that could not be tasted. The server stopped by approximately two minutes after we had received our meals to inquirer as to how everything was. We did not see her again. When she came to remove our plates, I asked her if I had received what I had ordered as it was not as described on the menu. First she said there was someone new making the salads and also added that we should have let her know of our problem sooner. That would have been impossible as she had not come back after the first inquiry before we were aware of the problem. Apparently the staff at The California Café is not instructed on how important customer service is. Too bad. |
