Upon our arrival in Charleston, my wife and I were looking for a lunch spot to satisfy a couple of hungry appetites and we happened upon the Wild Wing Cafe. What a nice find this turned out to be, as we enjoyed a nice, casual dining experience in which wings ruled supreme, despite the fact that the restaurant offers a wide variety of food items. We were very pleased with the high level of service our very competent and nice server provided and the wings and chicken sandwich platter certainly did not disappoint--they were very good and tasty. Be mindful of the fact that the mere name of this restaurant strongly suggests this is not the kind of establishment that caters to vegetarians--individuals of such persuasion would certainly be much better served dining elsewhere. But if one is looking for good wings prepared in many different styles, excellent service, very reasonable prices and a nice, yet very casual, overall atmosphere, the Wild Wing Cafe shouldn't disappoint. |

As a vegetarian, the idea of going to a bar known for its buffalo wings seemed kind of absurd. But the menu outside indicated they had what looked like a good house salad, so we went in. I ordered that salad with peanut sesame dressing, and a bowl of baked potato soup (both without the bacon). The soup was great, with large pieces of baked potato, but I was terribly disappointed in the salad. For $4.99 it should have been much larger, and the sight of wilted lettuce was upsetting. It did have a fair amount of mixed vegetables - that is, it wasn't ALL wilted lettuce - but overall it wasn't much of a meal |

With two successful locations serving the lowcountry, the franchise has proven that Wild Wing Cafe is the authority on wings. Wings aren't the only menu items this restaurant and bar offer. With tender ribs served with a variety of flavors that Baskin Robbins could hardly compete with, the staff at Wild Wing Cafe shows that versatility and the ability to serve all customers that enter these doors is what makes this restaurant a must see in Charleston. |
