Yes people, the Blue Moon is an OUTDOOR restaurant. It's on the water. Bugs are known to frequent the outdoors. There will be at least one bug somewhere in the neighborhood when you're at the Blue Moon, so paaleeeeze get yourself mentally prepared.
The bar, however, is second to none in Nashville, and the food will shock the heck out of most people who may remember what used to be at this location years ago ("Jack's Shack") where all you could get at the time was a chicken pita sandwich.
The dining is great, great thick pork chops, two kinds of trout both good, gourmet catfish dishes, pasta, grit cakes, smoked salmon sliced raw yummmmmy!!!!!
It's unique, it caters to boaters and people who want to be on the water, and there's nothing else like it around Nashville. |

I love this place! Me and my husband went here on our first date and still continue to go back. We love the food, service and the atmosphere, we especially loved all the boats. If you only go once, it will be worth it. |

Being at the water's edge, there are plenty of insects which seem to find their way into the food. This has happened to me more than once. I will not eat at this restaurant again even though the food was good as well as the location. |
