For non-smokers, you have to wade through dense clouds of smoke to get to the non-smokers section. However once you get in and adjust to the smoke the food and service are great. The waitresses are out standing, the food is fantastic. I noticed their prices have increased somewhat but so has everyone else. We drive 40 miles one-way to eat there and feel it was worth the drive. When you check out you have to endure the smoke from the cashier so be prepared to hold your breath for a while. |

This is a great mom and pop diner with THE BEST hand formed hamburger patties in town. The hashbrowns and eggs cooked to order are even better.
The waitresses have worked in this since it was A and J's and now its the Flying S Cafe. Basically the same place but with those fancy coffee creamers! |
