Cafe Nola is wonderful. The menu changes seasonally and the service is warm and always welcoming. A great place for locals or folks visiting from out of town. An easy walk from the ferry.

We've eaten at Nola over the years in its various incarnations, and the current one is the best yet. Try Sunday brunch. |

The above review does not reflect the great food and charm, and service of Cafe Nola on Bainbridge Island. We eat there at least once a week and find it the best cafe on the island, bar none. The food is reasonably priced, the service is excellent, and the menu, and food, is excellent, or better. Try it once and you will see. |

I eat at Cafe Nola regularly and there are always many wonderful choices from the seasonally changing menu. The food is fresh and inventive. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. The dining room is intimate and inviting. |

This place has been written up several times since the change over some 4 years ago. Zagat's new 2003 edition says it's possibly the best on Bainbridge!
Best Places Northwest says customers haven't suffered from the change. Best Place Seattle gives Cafe Nola thumbs up. Articles have been written in the Seattle Times telling people to get on a ferry and go to Cafe Nola. (Dinner Date & Sunset Cruise 5/3/01). Check out Citysearch and see what tough Seattle restaurant critic John Hitenberger says about the place.
We are locals and have several friends who appreciate the hard work that goes into running a top notch place like Cafe Nola. We are regulars and will remain loyal regardless of reviews written to ChefMoz. Look around in different publications and get the real scoop on Cafe Nola. |

After passing through various owners it has lost any charm it once had. I have tried it several times and I just can't lift a finger to say much of anything at all about the mediocre food and worse service. Pass and go for fish tacos at the tiny shop behind their building. |
