There was a time when Winslow Way Cafe was a great option for Sunday brunch or dinner. My husband and I felt comfortable taking out of town guests there since the menu was pretty diverse and food/service were consistent, the last 3 years however has brought us to question what is going on there! Food, service and overall charm has taken a nosedive. We do not even think about going there anymore! The service the last couple of times we went was so bad that we were certain the doors would be closed for good very soon. |

A group of us, all women in our 40s, had occasion to be in Seattle for a conference in April. We took the ferry to Bainbridge Island on the recommendation of some Seattleites and were not disappointed by the fine food and wine at Winslow Way Cafe. We had impeccable service as well, thanks to our waiter, James. |
