Food is great, but they could use some plants to fill the back entry way, and to paint the exterior walls. I look at entries as being a good part of the package and didn't like to see dead plants with no bark as I come in. |

We discovered Thai food back in the early 80's and go to Thai restaurants when we travel, if available. This place is our standard for excellence. They have expanded and are branching out. Soon to be in the new revitalized downtown Tacoma area. Expansion has caused some problems with training new servers to their standard, but if ever anything is not what you expected (has never happened to me, but I am not new), you should explain to them what you want (they excel in catering to your dietary needs as well- no sugar, no nuts etc.) They constantly want to know what their customers like and are always experimenting and adding great dishes (flavors) to the menu. They provide an experience that makes you want to come back-always. Food is delicious and beautifully presented in a warm atmosphere, with a Thai-French ambiance, that makes people feel comfortable, dressed up or casual. |

I love Thai and moved to the area several years ago. I had been disappointed by the Thai I had had here until I found Indochine. It is always great tasting and smelling, presented beautifully, and served with grace and care. I can't say enough good things about them. |

All my life I have lived in this area and just a few years ago I started going to Indochine. This family run business is friendly, and always ready to help. Me and my family got to know them there so well that I could talk about their family tree!! The food is great, the best Thai food I've ever tasted. I wish I could go there everyday, I crave their foods all the time!! Just last night I went there and they brough in a free dessert for us. These little suprises and self-lessness gestures is what makes them so nice to be around. The atmosphere is something else. They go to such measures that they closed the restaurant for a few months while they went to Thailand to get new recipes and art, to make our stay there even better!! I recommend you try this restaurent, and I promise you'll go back! |
